I love my bike but since I have driven new and more powerfull bikes like Blackbird and Kawazaki ZX12R I would like to boost up my ´89 model. Has anyone made Turbo kit for our bikes??

Well i don't know about a kit but two mad swedish students made a twin turbo setup for their vfr as part of a science project if i remember right and it worked like a dream. I'll see if i can find some info on it.

    **UPDATE**

    Found it, here you go...

Your bike is nearly 20 years old and the aftermarket for it dried up a long time ago. Besides, plumbing a turbo on a V4 is a nightmare. Your bikes' frame, brakes, suspension, tires, and coolant system were designed for an 80ish HP motor.

Best to buy a new(er) bike; more cost effective and you'll get more than just power improvements.

Fotomoto is right. A turbo vastly increases the heat and pressure your old engine will have to endure. Adding a turbo will expose the weakest link, which will either be the cooling system or the headgasket. The first overboost could frag your pistons or bend your connecting rods unless you beef them up with forged replacements. By the time you are done with the time and cost needed to keep it running right, you could have bought a different bike.

 You don't have time to be reading this forum, much less the *other* forums or discussions... lick the stamps man!!! Lick & stick.... lick & stick!!!

Those heated grips are ready to go to their new home and you are looking at supercharger threads.... think of the lack of electron flow you're causing!

There was a turbo kit for sale by Dynohumm (sp?), but they seem to have gone out of business. ;-(
