tuff frames

    how tuff are the vfr frames are they easy to damage reason im asking is i just picked up a 1990vfr bought it from a guy who took it for a test ride and some how the bike rolled so he had no choise but to pay 3500.for it ,along comes me and gets a deal,i looked at it ,it looks good with the body panels off u wouldnt think it was in a accident.so any tips on what to look for before i start puttin anyamount of coin into restorin her. :rolleyes:

    Can you be anymore descriptive in what you mean by him "rolling" the bike? Like, did he low-side, run off the road, loop it over backwards, or what? At what speed?

    Regardless, you would need a trained pair of eyes with you to look at the frames and subframe to look for bends, cracks, dings, as well as the rims, rotors, swingarm, and so forth.

    thanks im gonna look it over good,another question what years of body panels would fit a 90 are they universal from year to year
