Took her out at 8am this morning for a quick 100 mi ride to beat the 100 degree temps. My buddy came along on his 2010 Concours 1400. Warmed it up on some nice twisties then got clear outta town to see what she can do. Hits 145 mph very quick then slowly climbs after that. Still not sure what the top speed is. This bike loves corners and is rock solid at any speed. The PCIII performance settings do make a noticeable difference (bike also has micron exhaust and K&N filter) It revs/accelerates much faster on the performance setting. With 26K miles on the tach, she still feels like a new bike with the exception that the front forks seem a little too soft and are probably due for maintenance. I am a very happy owner :)

My friend could not believe how hard it was to keep up and that it was only 800cc. He had to take a spin. He was thoroughly impressed.

OEM front springs are a progressive equivalent to a .8 or something. Your average American male would use a 1.0kg

Cost you about $130 and worth 3x that for how much better the bike handles.

Usually a good idea to fix the rear suspension at the same time.
