Trouble with getting Honda 2000 yellow fairings from factory

    Ok,
    I've got a 2000 vfr- the yellow one. the color is pearl shining yellow.
    Ordered new upper and left side fairings.
    The upper came from honda in yellow, the lower left came in red.
    According to the Shop book, the only color for 2000 was the yellow.
    The part number in the computer at the shop shows that the number there, for 2000 is for a red fairing.
    Now the guy at the shop says that he needs a color number.

    So... where on the bike is the color number?

    trackback is something to do with blogging I think. It keeps from cluttering a post with random shite (I think)... As for the color, try going to servicehonda.com and looking at the online fiche there for the body panels for a 2000 model VFR. Then you'll have the part number even if you don't get the color code. I can't remember where the color code is, but I know the code for mine just from seeing it. You could try asking drewl or leftcoast they both ride y2ks and might know it.
