Transmission gearing

    I know the sprocket tooth count is the same with the 8th gen. and 6th gen.

    Does anyone know if the transmission gearing is the same in the 8th and 6th generations? I can't find it anywhere.

    Just one of those things that's got me curious.

    I do like the way the 2014 runs. It doesn't seem to lug as easily as any other generation. Probably the cam change.

    Anyway, back the transmission question.....thanks.

    That's interesting that Honda was able to make what I think is a significant low end torque cam change and not lose anything significant on the top end speed. That's what I was really thinking about. It doesn't really annoy me that I can only do Deal's Gap in the low 140's now.......
