Trading me VF750F for a Suzuki 450 supermotard

Don't you think you would be better off with a ready made KTM 450 SMR,

or a converted Honda, or Yamaha 450's to SM than a Suzuki converted to SM ?

Honda's, KTM's & Yamaha's are the predomanant bikes on the SM tracks !

 

Taz, I don't know much about supermotards. I am looking for a street-legal bike for ripping around up here (we do not have a track). I want something pretty cheap, too. I think I would love a KTM, but I don't think the wifey would let be head in that direction because of the $$$. Is the Suzuki a real dog?

 

Well the only Motard Suzuki makes is the DRZ400SM, & It's reliable as a bike can be, but is down on power.

For what you want it for, it'l do, but if you ever want more the dirt bike converted 450's or even better for reliability is the converted XR650R honda converted & made street legal.


One last alternitive & very reliable & can be had @ a good price used is the KTM 640 0r 625 (same thing) SMC.
It comes street legal & SM ready to tare up the town/freeway/ & the track.
