The ZX-10 was my original choice before the VFR crept into the decison making process back in July when i was bike shopping. I never actually rode the ZX-10 so i have been wondering for ages was i really missing anything?? So i went to a dealer this morning (i would not buy from them anyway, farkin useless was they) but i did get to ride a demo 10 for a few miles. In short: Felt ok, did not seem like i had to lean that much more than VFR but definitely a difference. Power-heaps of that Brakes- well it's a demonstrator so they probably were not bedded in properly, lacked initial feel and grab of VFR but only doing a short ride and not wanting to bin the bike i only had minor brake applications. Heat- especially around the inner, upper thighs. I'm guessing the undertail pipes cause that. Exhaust- Had twin Akrapovic carbons on it so sounded quite nice for an inline 4 Handling - like a train on rails, turns very easily. Was it enough to buy one and trade VFR??? Probably not, but if i was to have a second bike it would be in the garage straight away!!!
