Anyone have any feedback on the touch-up paint pens available on the market?
I have paint chips on one side of the bike. These chips in the paint happened a few weeks before I purchased the bike just over a year ago.
I believe the colour is either; candy apple red or glorious red. Paint code is R-101C-U.
This is a Tri colour; base, colour then clear coat.

I tried to find touch up pens for my pearl white VFR. No good. Supercheap wanted $60 to match the paint. Tried the Touchup guys and they wanted $200. I tried a white Nikko pen I had in the drawer and bugger me its a perfect match. Still looks good after many months.

Try nail polish a spotting brush and some lacquer thinner.

Be very careful aboot asking to get buggered. SOW will want to take you up on that literally.

Many "colors" on bikes and cars are the result of several layers of paint. This includes the prime coats. "All" paints are not opaque. Some even though a single color are transparent. Red is one.
