hi I would like to know if a torque value specified in the manual is correct. FSM say the to torque the shock link nut (frame side) in the rear suspension to 59 N/m...is this correct? isn't too high? I got the same bolt and nut in my VTR firestorm and that value is 42 N/m like others 17mm nuts near there either on the vfr than the vtr..
sorry for my english, best regards

The 17mm nut on the 89 is 40-50nm, so I would say 50 is fine
