Anyone know what the torque spec is for the rear sprocket nuts on my '84 VF750F? I am thinking about 50 ft lbs, but what do I know?

Tight is tight, this is one area that I know to tight is just as bad as not tight enough..on the 954 it's 84lbs. if nothing else find a spec sheet that has torgue values for the size of bolt, that should be close enough.

    On a VTEC it's 58ft/lbs.

you talking axle nut? cuz on a 84 there's a normal swing arm. 50lbs sounds good. For those of us that have the sssa, all we have are lug nuts or the nut that holds on the spindle, or for those that had the time and money or a RC30-45 the prefered single wheel nut. which I heard goes 90lbs?
