Top Case Reflector

Hi all, I have just purchased these used hard saddlebags for my VFR, the color of the top reflector is very dark red compare to the reflector on the edge of the top box, I was wondering if its because of the age or it is the normal color, if not I will look to order a new one?

Are you sure it is not a cover for a brake/tail light?

 

Yes I am sure, it is just a reflector...hard to find in Canada!!

 

Had to ask, I bought mine off of eBay in the UK and have never actually seen it except on Skype. I could have sworn mine had the light until the wife help the laptop up to it and showed me the hollow underneath. Guess the tail light, or license plate light is supposed to shine up into it?
Won't know until I mount it. you don't have any instructions for that by the way do you?

No instruction with the top case, I have purchased it used. I am still looking to know if the back deflector from the top case has the original color, has it is now burgundy instead of red. (see pictures on first post). Any idea?
