I have a Renntec sports rack fitted to my 97, and was going to fit a Givi Monolock top box to it using the universal plate. I have heard of issues of the Renntec racks breaking and was wondering if anyone here had had that problem. Would I be better fitting the dedicated Givi mounting arms and plate or would I be ok.. It will only be used for carrying light stuff like waterproofs and gloves and things like that..
