Well this was my first trip to the Dragon and I had not even had the bike a month yet....lol. Picked her up in Michigan and a month later we head to the Dragon together. The previous owner did not ride her much, when I bought the bike it had 2900 mile on a 2005. So after having her a little over a month I have almost doubled the mileage. Anyway here are a few pics from the trip, if you ever get a chance to ride this beautiful part of the country DO SO! Just absolutely perfect in everyway.

Glad you had a good time and thanks for the pics. That bike looks like it just came out of the crate.

Thanks for the pics. They remind me of how much fun it was to go on a road trip over the summer. Enjoy your new ride!

    Hey mrvfr

No was not in Michigan, I purchased the bike in Grand Rapids about a month and a half ago. I am from Chicago and took a trip up to the Dragon with 4 friends. As far as the roads in Tenn. go they are amazing! Dam near perfect really, I did not see one tar snake or crack on the road. No pot holes to speak of either. The roads out hear in Chicago are pretty horrible so anything is better. Traffic is not to bad and you can drag anything you want because the roads are amazing. I really did not trust my tires these are the OEM Metzlers and they really suck! I dont know if it's because the bike sat that the tires lost some flex but the grip is not there, a few times in a hard lean I felt the bike flutter which really destroyed my confidence in these tires. So over the winter a few upgrades are coming like some Pilot Powers and a Leo Vince SBK exhaust. I'm currently running Perrelli Diablos on the R1 and love them. This is what the other one looks like....lol.
