I was just adjusting the valves on my '85 500 and the front clutch side(#3?) exhaust rocker arm has about 1mm or .100 thousands of an inch of lateral side play when not under pressure. The valve clearance is fine and the arm doesn't seem to have any other unusual looseness other than sliding side to side. None of the other arms seem to do this. Is this common for some motors? My motor has about 30,000 miles and great looking cams so I don't want to tear into it if it's a non-issue, but I don't want to grenade it either. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance...
