So, with postings on 5 motorcycle forums, with a combined membership of 80264 people, several postings on craigslist, and flyers all over town, a total of 2 people showed up for the ride, Luke and Will. 185 miles, pizza in Downieville and ice cream in Graeagle. Good ride. Day was a success. Thanks for the idea Alex.

Anyone else make it out riding today to remember our fallen com-padres?

1st stop in Downieville, for the best, greasiest pizza around!

then to the little ice cream joint in Graeagle. This is in the middle of nowhere, 40 miles northish from Truckee.

Local Scenery. Sardine Lake. You can rent a cabin on this lake for only $1000.00 a week.

The view from up here really pretty much sucks...

First of all I would like to thank Ricko for passing along this idea/event to us all. I did organize my own ride today and similarly had allmost NOBODY show up even though several people said they would. Ah well, got out with some good ridin friends anyhow and got in a beautiful day of hookin corners. We stopped at Cracker Barrel for some grub in the middle of the ride and I snapped a pic.
