To your last post, Dismissed

We watch your properties and guard your home ground,
We ask you to tune it down, for the sake of those around.
From your kids, we seize liquor and call you to report,
Our hopes are that we are receiving your family support.
Tickets are issued to correct your behavior,
All this and more, to give you a way of life you may savoir.
When the chips are down though we would rather not,
We sometimes are there to take that shot.
And we do this, all for you.
Today I watched as you are laid to rest,
True Canadian heroes, our gratitude we bequest.
Because of you we live with less fear,
Today as I watched, I did shed a tear.

Well said, a sad sad day for Canada.

 

Men that I'm sure are missed and still loved. May they RIP.

 

Terrible day for LEO's. May they rest in peace and their families find comfort soon.

 

Rest easy, Troopers.

That was bloody awful - just out doing their jobs and some toe-rag murders them.
They gave up their lives for the safety of their communities.
True heroes.
