Ok I have put 2700 miles on my metzler sportec tires. NOw the issue is the front tire, it is down to teh belt on the left side, yet the middle and right side of the tire are perfectly fine. NOw I am getting 2 new tires tomorow but I was wondering if this is a bad tire or am I just riding wrong somehow?
I had the a similar issue with a Pirelli Dragon GTS tire. It was wearing more on the left side of the tire than the right side. I suspect it was something with the tire, but I cannot say for sure. The Pirelli was a 120/60-17. I replaced it with a Dunlop K510 120/70-17, which is the factory tire size, though the service manual does show a 120/60-17. It may have had something to do with the balancing. Did it bounce any?
