Just picked up a nail in my back tire - Continental Road Attacks, it was only 2 months old 6500km on it and wearing really well.
I checked with my dealer - no road hazard warranty like car tires. I ordered a new one, don't feel warm and fuzzy about plugging/patching a tire and running over 100mph!
Does any bike tire manufacturer offer road hazard warranty?
    I love these Conti's!!!

I got a set of new tires at Cyclegear a couple of months ago. They offered a road hazard warranty for 20.00 per tire. I took them up on it, which probably means I will not need it. I though that some manufacturers offered road hazard warranties but I can’t recall which one(s).

I have the Avon Storm ST tires on my bike. The Avon Storm ST tires have a road hazzard warranty (other Avon tires have road hazzard warranty also). I will not buy tires for my car, van, truck or bike that does not have some type of warranty protection (also do the same thing with batteries - no warranty no sale). I got the Avon Storm ST tires back in May or June. After the first two weeks or so after I got the new Avon Storm ST tires I got a nail in the rear tire. I contacted the shop on a Thurs and gave then the info from the tire (DOT# ect), and they contacted Avon. I had a new Avon Storm ST tire the following Tuesday. I high recommend Avon Storm ST tires on the VFR if you do occasional twisties and touring/work commuting. The Avon Storm ST Tires are great in rain and groved surfaces. The Avon tires grip good and I have full confindence in them. To each his own - run what you like and feel confindent with on the road. I did not like the Bridgestones on the VFR especially in the rain. Also, the Avon tires warm up quick for me up here in NYC (I ride year round so I need tires that warm up quickly, are good in wet weather and good on various road surfaces).
