I have questions on tires. I have a 86 vf500 and will need new tires next season. As I've read tire selection is minimal for these bikes these days. I don't really want to do a wheel swap but would like to go as wide as possible. Front is 100 90 16 . I see bridge stone has 110 and 120 -90-16 avalible and rear is 110 90 18 they have 120 and 130 avalible. Would I be able to fit these on the stock wheels? Any other recommendations? I would prefer radials but bias is about the only thing I can find

I'd be careful going with wider tires. I recently bought an 86 750F that had wider and lower profile tires (it actually had a radial on the rear). I put the stock sized tires back on and it was like a new bike. It no longer hesitated going into turns and was much more resposive in steering. Now it feels like the sport bike it is. Just make sure you understand how it might adversly affect the handling and cornering.
