Tire selection. Front tire size 120/70/17 on the front

    Looking to possibly put a set of michelin pilot road 4 tires on my 10 vfr1200F. Has anyone ran these and does the 120/70/17 fit on the front?

    You have the motorcycle to look at presuming it has a front tire on it, probably a manual, isn't that enough resources to determine correct tire size?

    120 70 17 is the factory size.

    The 1200 uses the same size tire as the 800? Interesting....

    Nearly every bike made uses the same front tire unless it's retro or ADV or dirt.

    Also, the PR4 tires are very good.

    I fitted PR4's on my new to me 2014 (bought in November, changed out the original tires with only 2100 miles on them....) and they have been wonderful so far (about 600-700 commuting miles) and I've been in all weather conditions but really heavy rain and so far so good. Sticky and confidence inspiring.
