I painted my tailights with 2 coates of translucent black paint then two layers of clear coat. They still need to be polished, but I was too impatient and mounted them anyways. At first I thought they weren't dark enough, but I am happy. I think I am going to buy new front turn's and leave them alone. I don't really like the color of them with the amber lens. But the rear turned out great, just as I imagined!

Let me see if I understood this correctly... You made yourself LESS visible?

I ordered LED's that are going to be brighter than stock. So no, I just made a visual appearance difference.

Plus I won't be doing any night riding, and I have added multiple LED's to increase my visibility.

    But thanks for the comments!
