All right guys, just joined this group and was wondering if anyone could help me. I have a mint 1997 vfr 750 with one problem. Last year i changed the collection box to stainless but as soon as I started the bike and revved it to 5000 rpm was struck with a noticeable tinny noise which died off at 7000 rpm. the garage said this was normal but I wasn't convinced. Have any of you had a similar problem and have any solutions? The collection box wasn't the cheapest but wasn't the most expensive either.
    Cheers
    Chas

Ill get a video uploaded over the next couple of days.the garage just cut the collection box open and found the inner wall loose and with welding wire sticking through so cut them off and tack welded the inner wall but its still the same.
