when i got my bike it had low clip ons. i didnt mind the position but they made the levers hit the gauges before you were at full lock either way. so i just picked up some stock clip ons. i got them on just fine but i am having throttle issues. the throttle doesnt snap back, and its very stiff. its possible that someone could have put shorter cables on it, but they seem to have some slack. does it sound like the cables just might be too short? or maybe i have it adjusted improperly?

kinda sucks since its supposed to be almost 70 tomorrow and i was wanting to ride to work.

how did the two cables perform before you installed them? ie did they slide easily in and out?
are they brand new or is there a chance that they could be frayed inside?

turns out that having the cables coming out of the throttle at the wrong angle will cause this... i feel dumb.
