    Hello,
I had a 2001 VFR for 2 years. I rode about 16000km (10000 miles) on it. Then it was destroyed in July in an accident with a left turning car. I have found a 1992 VFR 750 in good condition 40000km for about 2000 USD.
What differences should I expect between the 2 models ?
I am thinking more about handling, comfort, reliability than about performance.

    92 was great bike!

The 92 is a bit simpler, but for $2k you can't go wrong. No linked brakes or ABS. I ride a 95 and like the simpler design better than 1999+ models.

Let us know if you get it!:target:

Sold my '98 VFR in 2004 when I was having lumbar problems and could not ride. While I was recovering through exercise and therapy I bought a trashed '90 and built my RC30 wannabe with the Thurn Motorsports body kit, CBR900RR front end, and Staintune high mount exhaust. My '90 wannabe is not as predicable and settled as the '98 but it is definitely MORE FUN! I have heard people call the '98 and later bikes with fuel injection and linked brakes boring.
