    Hi all!
Not a new rider by any means, but am currently thinking of buying a used VFR, and where better to get info then from the guys who ride em everyday right?
This bike looks mint, but has 86,000kms on it, and I am a bit leary of that many klics on a bike......or shouldn't I be concerned? The owner claims to have changed oil every 5,000kms, and used motul semi synthetic oil. I can see no signs of bike being dropped or abused, has new tires elka shock, and heli bars. he wants 4500 cdn for it. Any feed back would be greatly appreciated. I am not so familar with these bike s as I have been a dual sport rider for many years, and want to step up to more long distance touring.
    Thanx in advance
    Brian

Welcome to the forum bigdog. Can you tell us what year the bike is? 86K kilometers or 53K miles is a bit high, but on a properly maintained VFR it does not matter. All it affects is the price and nothing else.

    Hi again
Ok have more info. mature owner, bike has seen mostly long distance hwy touring, and am now sure of owners credibility as far as maintenanc etc. It is a 2001 silver in colour....I know that has nothing to do with value ....lol heated grips extra windscreen. Owner has several bikes and all are impeccable condition.
    Ty:thumbsup:
