Its on the internet, I know they are very strong-five drops-only damage one broken mirror and very minor scratches on one drop due to gravel. Its is proven they work very well. just a tip so you save yourself some pain and plastic, they could possibly also save your foot or leg.

do you have RG sliders? I do. They are pretty expensive, I think I paid close to $200 by the time you factor shipping, hole saw bit, etc.

I ask, because in another thread you were complaining about the $7 or whatever honda charges for the rear wheel cap, so it just sort of struck me odd you would have the RG sliders on your bike. That said, it sounds like no one needs them more than you do, but at the same time, I would figure your plastics are so hosed at this point, its not like dropping your bike anymore would make it look any worse.

I am not going to do all that work myself, I knew there was a bike that slide at close to a 100mph but it took me a long time to find it-the R+G sliders were rubbed down to the bolt, but the bike itself help up great. These sliders actually work in a crash not just a drop.

Wouldn't expect you to go through the rigorous process of looking up a picture anyway. After all folks, we're talking about the guy who crashes his bike and has OTHER PEOPLE pick it up for him!

I will see if I can find it again-it was a really cool pic-the slider is just like a hockey puck and sliding down a track it should work really well, I picked the bike up myself the last two drops which I was surprised I could do.

I found the pic but don't know how to load it up, vfr 800 100mph cash with R+G sliders-kept the bike in one piece-it worked red 2002vfr. its not my pic, so its tricky to try and down load. Nothing is perfect at these speeds, but over 25mph any a bike with no sliders is going to be trashed quite good,

how could you spend so much time on forums and yet not know how to download pictures from the internet or upload them to forums? At the very least you could post the URL to the page you found the picture at, or describe what site it is at.

Sliders are not a bad idea but to say that at 100mph they are gonna save the day is a crock. They were in a controlled environment on a wet surface. I have killed a few bikes in my life and they tend to catch a tire when crashed at speed and Mary Lou Retton themselves into the air and only a trampoline will save the day. Fred splayed his bike oot in front of me one day and it caught air three times, sliders were not gonna help at all.

I actually agree nothing is going to help at 100mph but at lessor speeds perhaps, actually the best sliders are homemade out of steel that stunt riders use-they are more like a roll cage for motorcycles. In NYC, I once saw one of the most amazing stunts by a motorcycle , a full caged by going under a truck and sliding to other side. But I have to say the r+g sliders are better than my r6 slider were and they took a abuse, but I think it had a twitch in the frame when I traded it for a car.
