Fantastic stuff, have a quick read of this old Sports Tour review of the Gen 5 pitted against its ST Rivals of the day the BMW R1100S, Duc ST4S, Aprilia RST Futura and Triumph ST as posted on UK VFR site " hondavfrclub.org " Have a read of the UK Mag SuperBike conclusions page, being unbiased have to say there are no supprises as already know I ride the best motorcycle on this Planet.

Sports-touring as quoted from the Reviews conclusion:

" Sports-touring both as a genre of motorcycle and an activity is a very broad term encompassing 2500mile holidays with the missus, full panniers and the kitchen sink ans well as weekend scratching for people who don't like aching wrists and sore arses. Whichever end of the scale you put yourself as a rider, the Honda VFR is the best bike for you. "

    AND impressed and stunned:

" you cannot fail to be impressed, no, stunned by the VFR. I wanted to confirm my prejudice that it is a boring bike but wheeling in third gear next to sea I had to love it. Then as it pulled away from any other combination of bike and rider on the tight mountain passes the deal was done "

yeah, it is always nice to read... I look at what else is out there, and try others occasionally, then I get back on my VFR and enjoy my comfort zone...it just fits me.
