Hey all, I am not affiliated with these guys at all, and will say, if you are in a cold room/wintertime, it is tough to apply these protective strips, but man, this company stands by their products like you would not believe. :clap2:

Their products WORK, if you have a hairdryer and arent in the middle of an arctic northern winter, you can apply the protective films no problem, and dealing with Lucas (the owner) is a pleasure.

FURTHERMORE, they just cranked out some new front-end protection panels he tells me, so the kit for the VFR will be even nicer. If you are looking to keep your headlights from getting that pitted look, and want to keep your tank and tail from getting rub marks, I think this is a good way to spend some bucks.

    Just spreadin the word.

    Thanks NeverlosT-

Which one did you get? Is the total protective worth it?

I do use a magnetic tank bag sometimes. Do I have to remove the film when using or magnet still work? I assume the magnet still work...

    Thanks!

I think the magnet will still work just fine, if anything, the film will help the hold a bit, being less slick than the bare metal.
I got the total kit, which they are expanding now to cover more of the front plastic, and I would say it is worth it. My main areas of concern were the tank, headlights, seat cowl, and tail, and the kit covers them all. I think it is fifty bones well spent.

The films can be tricky to apply though, as NORCAL and the rest know, I almost had a stroke putting mine on. But that was because I was doing it in a cold basement without a hairdryer. Heat is your friend in this install!

That's exactly what I have been looking for. Thanks man! Tough to find a reasonable solution for the RWB at a decent cost. I'm also not going to get hosed to have it brought into Canada either.

I went to the tankslapper website, clicked on Honda and never saw VFR.

I was interested in getting just the headlight covers.

    Help

Hey Bob, pick your product then on the bottom left in the drop down menu, you'll see VFR. Not sure if they do it for headlight only!

    NeverlosT, Thanks for the reply
