As you probably know already that I live in Wales, UK. So today, on a whim I decided to ride to Merthyr Tydfil and look up an old friend of mine. So I mounted the vfr1200 and set off from Swansea, after letting the engine warm up. It was a bit chilly with damp roads but not much in the way of traffic. Out on the duel carriageway I zoomed up to a ton and bit, but my word, the wind was strong and buffetting me around like a tissue paper, so I did the realistic thing and dropped the speed. But the wind was in a foul mood and continued to let me know this. I got to see my mate and had a nice hot sweet tea. Bonfires all night.
