I have 3 bikes and will alternate on a pretty regular basis, but last week was the VFR's turn. I, like most of us, think the VFR is my favorite, it's refined, has an awsome sound (thanks akrapovic!) and a perfect seating position for me anyway. So, this morning, I walk into the garage and decide (VFR running on fumes) to take my Kawasaki ZRX1200R. I felt a little "rooty" today, and by that I mean that my inner "hooligan" was coming out. Man, I forget how much "stonk" this thing has. I love to either roll on or just whack open the trottle on this thing just for the thrill. From 30mph in top gear to well over 140mph this thing will try to pull your arms off! The cages turn into a dot in your mirrors soooo quickly! I now pronounce my ZRX the "cannon", cause it makes me feel like the "human Cannonball". That is all, return to your regular programming.
Always liked the ZRX! If I could get a 2nd bike I think I would go for a new Ducati Hypermotard with the liquid cooled motor......though I would probably end up in jail on that thing.
I had an 04 Rex, I really do miss that bike. Wish we would get the fuel injected one here. I still like my VFR as much in a different way if that makes sense
