well... I would like to see a picture of each vfr model that has contributed to the 25 years in there somewhere.

Also I would like to here some words regarding how the very first VFR was received in the market and what made it so great. I am a bit to young to know.

    Basics ? Such as?

The first VFR was the 1986 Honda VFR750 and it was painted RWB and it was the 2nd model of Honda's to have the Gear driven cams, as the first was the 1985 VF1000R.

The VFR 750 became a legend on the track as men like Freddie Spencer/Bubba Shobert/Randy Mamola/Wayne Rainey /Mike Baldwin put the Honda in the winners circle ..

Actually over the years the different VFR Generations lost horsepower against the 1986 which had/ 105hp and dry weight was 476lbs.

    Here is link http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~john/vfr/specs/

Back to basics .. Wear your safety gear and ride responsibly, that is until you have an open road or the twisties are clear and free to run.

Ride often. Don't ride impaired. Don't ride tired. Don't forget a preflight and regular maintenance. ATGATT. It's the journey, not the destination.

    Basic enough?

My pre ride inspection is very basic.. Check Oil level, chain, tire pressure and faring fasteners as some loosen over time.

those are all some good ideas and hopefully as time goes, we'll get more and more pics and development of the wiki. it goes much slower then wikipedia as the browsing traffic is much smaller here than there...

Hey Reg, was it your intention to delete the prior contents of the page?

The name refers the history section of the wiki... it was a link that provided the basic info such as what VFR means and a VFR history... although that info has gone bye bye.
