Just wanted to post and say thanks to everyone for their help over the past three years. I may not have posted a lot, but I certainly read and learned a lot from this site.

I sold my 86 VF500 to a guy last night that was completely stoked to have it and I was glad to see it going to a good home. His first ride on the bike was going to be ~80 miles back to his house and he made it back with no issues.

Anyhow, thanks for all being part of this great community. I told him to make sure that he signs up here so that he can keep the bike in good shape and pass it along to someone else in a few years.

I sat on a new Interceptor 800 the other day at the dealer, but for now I've moved on to the cruiser lifestyle for a while with an '04 Suzuki Marauder...it redlines where my 500 would just start to wake up...

Stick around. I sold my 2000 and they still let me hang out here. On the subject of which, I sure do miss her.

This site and the VFR can be very much like the "Hotel California"

You can check in but you can never leave. LOL.

We all know that at some point in time, you'll be back. As long as you enjoy the new ride, that is the main thing.

If I could somehow sneak a VF800 into the garage without the wife knowing...and just have one of each for whatever mood I'm in...

Unfortunately, I think that the seat on my vf500 was more comfortable than the one on my new ride... maybe I just need to get the a$$ grooves worn in a bit tho... :loco:
