I called tom tom and was able to get the free lifetime maps working-a must-new maps run $60 without out it P1010273.jpg . My unit is a 2013 model. It cost me $164 which is very cheap for a motorcycle gps-I am going to use it in my car too. I have to get a Bluetooth headset. After testing a few things out-I think it is a excellent gps and it is waterproof and more shock proof then car gps's. :nelson:

I agree. I have the same one and use it for scuba diving, bungee and base jumping and trips to Walmart.

considering he doesn't actually ride his VFR (pushing it around your driveway mouthing "vroom-vroom" noises and occasionally dropping it doesn't count). I assume he'll be testing it's accelerometer and altimeter functions during the next delivery.

the kids make basketball hoops out of the road sign here and deer hunters put many holes in them, so gps is the only way to know where you are,, I don't like getting lost out in the back roads where it s safe to ride most of the time.:spider:

Cats are the best landing animals in the world , I love to copy them. Using a real motorcycle gps is important for going distance, if you go the wrong way it can cost you a lot, running out of gas, or simply getting too tired to make the journey and crashing does happen for sport touring riders. it makes it easy for the VFR rider to have fun and not get lost-ug!:party2:

How in hell could you get lost? I thought that you never went more than 25 miles in any one direction from home! Good price on the gps by the way.
