Woke up to some white stuff this morning and still need to put the bikes away for the winter. Always a little depressing this time of the year knowing I'll have to go without for 5 months or so. Hope to get a warmer window soon to gas them up and take them to storage before I set my alarm clock for April.

You can always stay in my garage, I hid my '01 in there for weeks and the wife never even had a clue! Although she might think it was weird if I started bringing food down to the garage, so you're on your own there! Good news is that there's tons of food places right around the corner from me and although there's not much room in the garage now, there's lots of motorcycle stuff to keep you cozy. Oh, if you get bored, Long is only 5 minutes away.

I never put my bike away. I do know some guys that live in my area that don't ride in the winter and I think they are crazy. If it is above 40 deg I am riding, it gives me a chance to use my winter gear. I would go crazy if I couldn't ride my bike for even a month. I feel for all riders that live in areas that get snow.

Coool idea. If Robclo doesn't take you up on the offer maybe I might show up at the garage door, though I'm not sure the wife and kids would approve (mine that is). Mind you, if your in Anaheim, that means Disneyland is relatively close by, and should only be a short drive to the San Diego Zoo. That should keep the wife and kids happy. I promise to bring my polisher and dent fixing tools just in case. By the time spring returns to Canada, I should have everything in your garage gleaming like the new day sun, and any cages in the garage will be free of any aerodynamic racing wrinkles (dents). LOL. I've always wanted to ride The PCH. Is it really as good as everyone says??

A family of four? Might be a little cramped in there but hey, who am I to say no? Disney is only 6 miles down the road from me. Ironically, other than to do a job there, I haven't been to the park since well before I moved to Anaheim back in '98. PCH, is OK but, more scenery than anything, it's the tributary roads in Malibu that are more worthwhile IMO! Lots of twisty roads to take you from PCH, through the mountains and then back down to PCH. Fun, fun, fun! I'll try and keep the car to one side but it's only a single car garage, so it'll only help a little!

Two of my neighbors work for Disney so I actually have access to discount tickets, but thanks for the offer.

Geez, this idea is sounding better and better. You know, I have met soooo many cool people on this site that are just soooo willing to give of themselves to someone they have never ever met. You truly do meet the coolest and nicest people on a VFR, or any other bike for that matter. If I ever do get the chance to make it across the border I will most definitely have to look up some of you up and buy either a beer, dinner, or both. Only one beer for Scubalong though, I've heard some stories about him and beer. LOL

You can be Long and Reg's chase vehicle. The plan is for Reg to get a side car and Long is going to ride in it as photographer/beer keeper:drinker::party2:

Okay, I don't feel so bad yet. So far we have had a lot of snow outside of Kelowna in the mountain passes but, as yet the white, fluffy, motorcycle hibernation inducing atmospheric anomaly has not hit the valley floor. Alas the insurance on my bike ran out last week and has been converted to a storage policy. :smow:
