I have just installed a TBR C-2 CF Oval High Right exhaust and WOW what a difference it makes. I'm not experienced enough to notice any increase in horsepower but certainly the sound is noticable- INCREDIBLE! The fit and finish are excellent. I don't think the newer C-5 would have fit given it's wider (1") diameter. I prefered the look of the C-2 anyway given it's more traditional CF look and also prefered the sound. They all (C-2, C-4/5) beautiful though and the C-2 will be discontinued sometime this year (says TBR).

Anyway, the purpose of this note is to let you know the pipe works perfectly with the GIVI PL161 tubular rack. It's almost as though each was made with the other in mind. There is about 1 to 1.25 inches between the pipe and the bag. I've tested them on long rides and even on some twisties in 80+ degree weather and the bags are at the VERY most luke warm. Operating temperature has been up to about 218 degrees in these "tests". Interestingly enough, the top of the bags were hotter than the bottom (by the pipe) due to the sun. If this were not a carbon fiber pipe things might be different. I had quit a few pictures to post but accidently exposed the film so I'll get more up soon. Talking about pictures...thanks to Gui for all his efforts (pictures, sound files, measurements of his current TBR C-2 set-up)- I don't think I would have taken the "leap" and put this set-up together without that info.

    Take care,

    Mike

what did you pay for the pipe and through which site. did you install the pipe yourself? How was the install? I think TB is the path for me also, but your info will help immensely.
