New Enough has a pretty good assortment of hard and soft tank bags. I have a Nelson-Rigg (highly recommend this brand) tail bag and plan on getting the saddle bags and tank bag to go with it.

I have a Rapid Transit Recon 19...I really like it. It comes in both strap and magnetic versions. I have the strap version...I prefer a strap bag to a mag bag.

Marsee makes really great stuff. Well designed, lots of little details. Well made mine have lasted forever; much longer than my previous stuff.

I have the Nelson Rigg Silver Streak magnetic (expandable) tank bag and it's been perfect. I too got it from Newenough.com along with matching saddle/tail bags.

I mounted it to the rear seat for a month or so, but have put it back on the tank.

Been running a Marsee magnetic on my bikes for years. Well made, expandable and the magnets are large and really hang on. On the model I have the bag unzips from the pad housing the magnets.

So much for the sales pitch..

If you need something to keep the sides from collapsing, try WalMart or other for a Sterlite or other plastic box that will fit your tankbag.

Harleydoods use old olive oil cans braced with rebar.
