Welcome to the nut house! :)

Why do you need a new tank? Is there corrosion on the inside? is it badly damaged?

Oh ... and pics or the bike doesn't exist. ;)

Why does this guy have to post pix? All he wants to know so far, is if anyone has a better tank for his bike.

Too many HMFICs making up shit that is only important to them. Let's see some pix of them sometime, buck ass nekkid.. In the winter it may not exist or will be a hell of a lot smaller..

I have an 83 tank from my first bike that crashed in 85. It had a dent which I filled and then primed (rattle can). I has been sitting ever since without and gas in it. it will need to be repainted and decals. The tank I had on current 83 sat too long with gas and is totally gummed up and rusty, so I bought another tank form an 85 700. Does your cap have a good seal? Both of mine were shot. Seal is integral and can't be replaced, another reason I bought a complete tank. Send me a PM if you are interested.

    You bet I got it!

Vandalized your tank? Scratched it up?

Well, if you can't find a replacement tank, I'd highly recommend Kreem or find a dealer / shop that will Kreem your tank for you.

I've used this stuff myself on a Honda Magna V45 (same engine as the Interceptors!) restoration I did years ago. It did an amazing job sealing and lining the inside of the tank ...

Yes ... because your response (like almost all the rest of yours) is very helpful to the OP and on topic.

OK, I changed my mind. This dude better post up some pix or we will send SOW to his place for a permanent visit. His need for a tank will just have to wait.

Withoot pix there is no way to know if this is not another one of those Nigerian damaged tank schemes.

The problem with these tanks is that the main and reserve pickups have long convoluted tubes that hard to clean.
