Hi there, has anyone found a magnetic tank bag that can display a modern smartphone? I've ordered two that claim that, yet the pouches are made for a 2009 smartphone. Or a GPS pouch...
    Thanks

One thing to consider with what you're looking for is that the clear plastic cover over the top of your phone acts like a greenhouse roof! When I had my iPhone in my GIVI tank bag it over heated on more than a few occasions. If you're not in an area with a lot of sun, it may not be an issue but here in So Cal it was an issue for me.

Maybe you are approaching this wrong. Maybe the first question you need to answer is what do I want to do with my smart phone on the bike?

For me I put my phone somewhere it does not matter, jacket, tank bag, top case whatever. I have my phone with a Bluetooth connection to my GPS and the GPS Bluetooth to a SENA headset. I use the GPS for navigation, speed and music and to answer and receive phone calls. The phone itself is out of site out of mind.
