Just bought the Cortech Sport 2.0 Tail Bag (to go with my saddlebags) and I can't figure a good way to connect the straps when I use the tail bag alone. I've been connecting the front straps to the mounting bracket for the passenger pegs, and the rear straps to the rear clip hole for the factory panniers. Anyone have any luck or tips for this? Thx

Aerostitch has a set of looped straps that come in three different sizes. Two of each strap. Six straps total, for about 10 bucks. You can loop these thru any spot on the frame or foot pegs etc. You then attach your bungies to these. Simplest and best accessory ever! You will use them all the time. I wish I could remember what they are called. Page thru an Aerostitch catalog and you will find them.

not exactly sure how the seat is on the new VFR, but when I had a GSF1250 I made loops out of old strap, (from many an old tank bag mountings), and used short wood screws to attach them to the bottom of the seat. they were long enough, to hang out the side of the seat, when the seat was installed, and pulled up on the bottom edge of the seat. I even cut some bungees short, using the hooked ends from old ones on new straps, to have some special short bungees, just for something like attaching a rear bag.
My new CB1000R, has them stock, and even has the small plastic hooks to hold them up under the seat when not in use, before, I had to fold them neatly and use both hands when installing the seat not using the hooks hanging out.

I would think, that would work? seeing Honda has used that idea, and is stock on my '2012 model CB.
