I was wondering whether anyone would know a good spot to attach my tach so that I can do my idle and pilot adjustments on my '93. New to this site, first post.

Doesn't your bike already have a tach on it?? I don't understand what you are asking.

Actually what I'm asking is where would I attach my external tach to do maintenance on the bike. The tach on the bike isn't sensitive enough for 50rpm adjustments.

How does your tach attach? Does it have a clip that goes arouns a spark plug wire, similar to some used on cars? If it does, find the #1 plug wire and just clip it on and it should work.
