Question for those of you with the T-Rex Sliders on your sixth gen: do you have to remove the sliders to remove the fairing? I'm thinking about getting a set, but it looks as though it will interfere with one of the bolts on the fairing.

Also, how is your clearance to your shin? I'm concerned about them getting in the way.

    Thanks in advance!

I have them and have the same question about the fairing removal. I'll have to see at my first oil change. I suspect I'll have to remove the bolts and slider to get the fairing off, but possibly not as well. There are no interference problems with my shins whatsoever. I'm 6'2'' and have the stock handlebar setup. They are really well built sliders.

Thanks! I was mostly concerned about the leg clearance. Additional disassembly for oil changes I can work around, but whacking my knee every ride would be a deal breaker. If I get them and find out about the fairing clearance before you do, I'll post.

If you're asking about the "no cut" sliders, then yes they do interfere with the mid fairing bolt. All you should have to do is remove the sub frame bolt, the higher of the two, loosen the lower bolt and rotate the slider upward and you will have clearance.

As far as knocking your knees, I'm 5'11" and have lowered pegs and these don't bother me at all. I forget they are even on.
