SWITCH SET Turn signal replacement problems - doesnt fit

    Found the solution. There IS a hole for the pin but the grip was covering up the old pin that broke off from the old part and was stuck in the hole. I am going to leave up the pictures for now and add some more later to put together a post explaining to others who might come across this same problem.

    I'm looking for help. I am installing a new switch set and it doesnt fit. I have pictures of the old and new parts. I'm hoping someone can tell me what I'm missing.

    My first thought is that the bars are not stock although they look stock. The pin on the new part must go into a slot on the bar which my bar doesnt have. The old part looks like it had a pin but that was removed and then glued to the bar.

    Anyone have ideas to make this work. Should I grind down the pin on the new part?
