susspension rebuld

    bent front forks should i try to rebuild, or replace with new/used ones? any safty concerns or advice?:thumb:

    Depends on how bent they are. If they are just slightly tweaked with no creases in the fork tubes, many suspension guys can straighten them. If they are creased or badly bent, then you should probably look at replacing bad parts and inspect the sliders for possible damage as well. Pics would help. In general, the cartridge is ok most of the time, its just the fork tube and seals that take the brunt of the damage. Also depends on what year/model you have. Some older bikes are going to be much more difficult to find parts for in which rebuilding might not be an option.
