I've had a bit of a look through some of the threads on upgrading the suspension.

Firstly, I've never really modified a bike, I do notice however that the bike has a bit of a wobble when hitting bumps at speed on the motorway. It also seems a bit soft in general.

Thing is I've not really got anything to compare it too. I've read that a lot of our brothers in the US use a chap called Jamie to sort things out! Just not sure where to go in Scotland without knowing whether there's going to be a vast improvement over renewing with new stock parts.

Is the stock suspension that bad, find it slightly difficult to understand how Honda could get something so fundamental so wrong!

    Any advice gladly received.

I'm about 78kilo, still getting properly used to being back on two wheels, however I like a spirited ride without being wildly aggressive. I'm okish with a spanner, is it a massive job to swap over the parts?
