Supercharged Sport Tourer

It's been speculated that Kawasaki is going to come out with a H2 derived sports tourer. It looks like they will and there's talk of it being 200hp, but also good on gas. Pics in the link below. Priced about the same as the Goldwing, but looking hella better and more fun.

Indeed it does. Maybe one year Suzuki will update the 'Busa's looks.

I'll keep my CBR1100XX at 1/10 the cost.

 

Wish Honda would keep up with the Joneses a little...

 

I think this category of bikes are not the profit generators for companies.
Countries around the world that have roads which could allow bikes like these to run at full capability safely are few.
Selling mass number of units worldwide is probably better for a company in the long run.

 

I think you are right. The bean counters are in control now and little cc bikes in great numbers make a lot of money.m

 

Looks like a Ninja 1000 with a bit more power and a slightly larger windscreen at twice the price.
They already have the lighter, nimble, and sporty Ninja 1000 and the bigger, more comfortable, but still sporty C14. What exactly is the point of this one?

Because neither of them have 200 hp...

 

I have been shopping for another ZX14, maybe an 'r' model for this one, but now maybe I'll hold for a while to see the specs on this new H2. I think the wife may like it with the bags off (she just doesn't like suitcases in her rear area), and snap them back on when I am solo on a video/photo run, or when going to Home Depot, as I am forever running out of storage on the o6' zx14 with only a tank bag!! Although I don't need 200 hp.........well that was a lie.......if this bike with a supercharger didn't have 200 hp, I would probably scratch it off the list. But for now, I just bumped it to the top!

 

Sure they'll be coming out with smaller cc bikes with superchargers to sell to the masses.
1000 supercharged it's got to be well over 200 hp I'd think
