Walked into the Wilson Leather store in the Jackson Premium Outlets yesterday since they had a Suzuki C50 in the window and I wanted to enter the drawing for it. Then a neat looking jacket caught my eye.

It's a textile jacket with leather padding in the upper shoulders, elbows, and across the chest and back. Nice size mesh vents at the inner elbows, chest, back, and upper shoulders (should catch the air really nicely here). It's not a super heavy jacket, but it does have a zip out lining to make it even lighter. The outer shell appears to be very wind resistant (with the vents closed).

They were having a 20% off sale, so this is what I got for $80:

Fits really nicely; I am a 44 (or so) in jackets, but these just have M, L, XL, etc. I ended up being an XL.

It was raining, so I couldn't get action shots... I tried the best I could inside the house:

Okay, you can see I'm on a Yamaha here, but pay attention to the jacket, not what I'm riding ....

Here are the tags, so you can see the style:

Now, when I went in to the store originally I tried it on and loved it but didn't buy it just then... so I went back to get it the next day. I picked up the XL again and it was WAY too small...... so then I tried an XXL.... way too small still! Then I noticed the zipper pull was on the left side... apparently there are women's and men's. I was an XL in mens.

    Plus, it's fashionable:

Great pics! To keep the illusion, you need to clean up the arm and leg in the one photo

No, no armor in any spots. Just padded leather.

Heading out momentarily for a road test.

Well, just got back from a whole day of riding. It was in about the Mid 50's and sunny/overcast.

Surprisingly, with just a long sleeve t-shit and a t-shirt over that, the jacket (with the lining and vents shut) was more than adequate for keeping me warm. It's quite wind proof, with just a little getting through the main zipper in the front.

I really like it so far.

Nice find Elwray. Even better "action" shots inside the house though! Next time I get new stuff I'll have to pound back a few for inspiration and post up some goofy ass pics too  Actually, somebody DID try to give me new gear last nite at the show...............
