    Hi all,

Has anyone actually had their sub-air filter dissolve and sucked into the carbs/engine head? I'm interested in hearing people's stories and what issue it had caused.

    Cheers

Funny you should mention that, because mine was about 3 seconds before dissolving and being ingested when I took my carbs apart this past winter.

However, I don't think that it would go as far as the carbs, since the main filter would catch it first (right? - I'm not 100% sure).

Mine was completely dry rotted and ready to fall apart when I replaced the main air fiter. Not sure how much longer it would have lasted....

Unfortunately it feeds straight into the carbs, as I have found parts of the sub-filter in the cards where the diaphram resides.

    Cheers
