I just installed Micron slip-ons and a PC3usb on my "new" 04 (1000 mi.) and noticed that the left can blows hot air while the right blows very cool. Seems both blow at the same velocity. I don't remember if this was how the stock exaust ran. Is this normal, mabey a Micron thing? As a side note I love the pipes. They look and sound friggin awesome.

It kinda makes sense if you look how the piping is under the fender...

makes sense? i must be missing something here. all air goes from stock pipe to midpipe, from there it's up and under the seat. the first pipe to get exhaust from the engine is one on the right (the one staying cool). if you do know the reason please let me know. it's got me totally perplexed.
    thanx
