Hi all, so i travel on this B-road if you will with my friend on his R1 and there are lots of cars which we try and get past from time to time. Now as it is the easiest and basically only road i have to use to go to and from work we have no other choices, trucks do use it ass well and they sometimes drop sand or small stones which the cars seem to deflect onto me (my mate never seems to be affected). Ive lost a screen on my 04 blade due to this and now my front bumper was scratched by stones on my VFR.

All things I have to accept using such a road. Now i have seen below link and it seems like a good product to protect my headlights which is the one thing i really do not want damaged, but is it really? :confusion:

As i live in South Africa, i do not even think we get it over here so if i was to buy it from the States, then i need to be sure it works.

    Thx

I have no experience with it but it looks like it would help at least with pitting from smaller stones. $20 is probably worth it, depending on the shipping. Maybe if your buddy got one at the same time the shipping charges could be split.

I have no experience with it either but am with Zombie. It might help with very small stones a little. Just too thin/flexible to me to provide any real protection from bigger stuff. I think for any real protection, going to need something harder and thicker (insert punchline here). I do not know anything about this place and just looked it up real quick but this looks like thermo-formed acrylic which, to me, would be thicker and more impact resistant at only a few bucks more. Something like this would serve you better IMO. Good luck.

Probably an OK product for $20.00. A 3M dealer if available will have bulk .008 film that can be cut to fit.

    See www.ventura.com for Lexan shields.
