Can you provide some history of the bike ownership, miles, battery, stator or regulator replacements, maintenance, anything bad happen to this bike?

That could be a connection open-circuiting when warm because age has caused corrosion or separation of metal. Heat adds more resistance and it can become infinite. Can be switches, ground connections, motor brushes. The following post shows behavior of a starter failing:

It is important just to know how the system is performing and check for problems that affect everything. Test the battery voltage after a day or two of sitting and compare to a battery life chart. Test idle & 5000 rpm voltage. Check the power connections and fuse blocks for melted plastic or discoloration.

Post 9 here is "the drill" which runs through the detail of testing the electrics. Haven't read it in a while, maybe it has the specs for multimeter test of starter. If not check the factory service manual. I do not want to lead you in a direction, that is a bad thing to do, but if it is the starter it will continue to draw more power from the rest of the system, thus it may be an important item to eliminate early on.

I agree. Eliminating the starter is a great idea. Be prepared to run and bump your bike for quick getaways. This is the next popular thing to do at bike nights.

This can be an old battery, charging issues, or bad connections/earth block.
I would at least use a voltmeter to test charging voltage cold and hot.
Check your stator to R&R connector, main fuse connection and battery terminals.

I agree with Oz, but I would say most likely you just need a new battery. In my experience a failing battery puts out less current when it is hot.
